Fake vs Real: Japan 2022 HEAT.RDY World Cup Away Shirt
@JLeagueShirts recently shared a very insightful thread, offering a detailed comparison of an official and a fake of the Japan 2022 World Cup away shirt in the authentic 'HEAT.RDY' variant.
Japan 2022 World Cup HEAT.RDY Away Shirt - Fake vs Real
What stand out about this particular fake of the Japan 2022 away jersey is how well the main material of the shirt and knit pattern are reproduced. There are a few clear giveaways, but they are mostly in small details that can only be observed up close.
Collar
Flag on back
Probably the most obvious detail from afar, the Japan flag on the back of the fake is placed too far down whereas it's placed right below the neckline on the real shirt.

Authentic badge
Inner sleeve (3 Stripes)
The blue accents are much more turquoise on the official shirt while the type of stitching is also different between the two jerseys.
Inner neck print
Completing his thread, @JLeagueShirts adds that some of the details, most notably the inner neck print could actually be more similar to the fake on the European version of the shirt.
Hopefully this helps some avoid paying HIGH prices for (what are admittedly good, very good, some of the best I've seen, especially for a shirt with such detail in the original) copies. The effort has been made in these copies, but on't pay genuine prices for them.
