American rapper Tyler, the Creator, branched out into streetwear and fashion design in 2011, founding the clothing brand Golf Wang. Since then, they've collaborated with Vans, Levi's, Fila and Converse, firmly establishing themselves on the scene with their trademark bright colours and frequent use of patterns.

Their latest drop is inspired by the USA's 1994 World Cup home kit and contains a full football kit of jersey, shorts and socks, with a hoodie and a football completing the look. Wavy stripes cover the torso of the collared shirt continue onto the left leg of the shorts, making an appearance on the football too. The baby blue hoodie gives us a better look at the crest which appears on the jersey, modelled on the very American badge used by the USA in the early 90s.

Recently the subject of a New York times piece entitled Soccer's Most Stylish Man, Hector Bellerin was the obvious choice to front this campaign. Aside from his interest in fashion, Bellerin is one of few players who seems to actually have something to say on wider cultural issues outside of his profession, and regularly steps out of the football bubble that most of his peers permanently live in.

Golf Wang have released a couple of football shirts in the past, based on Juventus' 12-13 home shirt which Tyler the Creator was a big fan of. He seems to have a penchant for striped football kits in general, so the inspiration for this release isn't all that surprising when you take a look at his own jersey collection.
