Update: Latest 2023 January Transfer Shirt Numbers

30th January Update: Plenty more clubs have been busy in the transfer market over the last few days. Check out the quick summary below and scroll down further to see the list of the biggest completed transfers across Europe this January.

Latest New Squad Numbers

Chelsea have given Noni Madueke the number 31 shirt, while also adding Malo Gusto to their ranks. The French right-back won't have a squad number with the Blues until the summer as he's spending the rest of the season on loan at Lyon. Polish defender Jakub Kiwior is Arsenal's new number 15 following his move to from Spezia while elsewhere in north London, Tottenham have a new number 16 in the form of dutch winger Arnaut Danjuma. Leicester's Brazilian loan signing Tete will occupy the number 37 jersey.

On the continent, Borussia Dortmund have signed Belgian prodigy Julien Duranville, whose number 16 shirt reflects his age. Marseille pulled off quite the coup by signing Morocco's World Cup star Azzedine Ounahi from Angers for only €8 million. He is the club's new number 8. In Italy, Fiorentina completed the signing of Croatian midfielder Josip Brekalo, who has chosen the number 77.

20th January Update: A couple of high profile moves have been completed today. Leandro Trossard is now an Arsenal player and will wear the number 19 shirt, while Danny Ings has joined West Ham from Aston Villa. He is the club's new number 18. Memphis Depay picks up the number 9 jersey at Atlético Madrid following his transfer from Barcelona.

Yann Sommer, formerly of Borussia Monchengladbach, has transferred to Bayern Munich and will be taking the number 27 jersey. Meanwhile, Pablo Sarabia, formerly of Paris Saint-Germain, has transferred to Wolverhampton Wanderers and will be wearing the number 21 jersey. Julian Ryerson, formerly of Union Berlin, has transferred to Borussia Dortmund and will be wearing the number 26 jersey.
