Classy O'Neills Ireland Special-Edition Jersey Released - Castore Still Expected to Take Over Kit Deal
As expected, the O'Neills Ireland teaser was not about the brand sponsoring the national team but rather a one-off jersey inspired by the partnership during the 1970s and 80s.
That doesn't mean that New Balance will stay - Castore are still expected to be announced as new Ireland kit maker in the coming weeks. According to journalist Graham Merrigan, who correctly called the fact that the teaser was about a fanwear shirt, the Castore Ireland kit is set to be launched on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th).

The O'Neills Ireland Premier jersey introduces a classy design featuring the classic shamrock crest on the left chest and a historic O'Neills logo on the right, both colored in gold.
In terms of design, the O'Neills Ireland Premier jersey boasts subtle striping as well as a faint celtic knot pattern. The collar and cuffs come with gold and light green detailing.
