Thomas Lemar Almost Rips Sergio Busquets' Shorts Clean Off
Barcelona came away from their match against Atlético Madrid with a 1-0 victory, but Sergio Busquets lost a pair of shorts in the process.
Lemar Rips Busquets' Shorts
A Ferran Torres goal gave Barcelona a 1-0 win over Atlético Madrid on Sunday evening as they edge closer towards the La Liga title. Atléti received no less than eight yellow cards in the second half, but Thomas Lemar managed to escape one despite ripping a massive whole in the shorts of Barça captain Sergio Busquets.
Busquets started it by tugging on Lemar's shirt before the Frenchman grabbed a hold of his shorts in retaliation. Atlético's jerseys must be made of stronger stuff than Barcelona's shorts as the shirt remained intact but the shorts were torn asunder.
Busquets approached the referee hoping to get Lemar booked but instead he was the one to be shown a yellow, then sent to see the kitman for a fresh pair.
Busquets is known for his antagonising tactics so it was nice to see the referee not falling for his act. The right call by the ref in your opinion? Let us know in the comments.
