Hellas' stadium celebrates its 60th anniversary
What makes the Joma Hellas Verona 2023-2024 home football shirt unique is the subtle lettering all over it. It comes with the historical nicknames of the Marcantonio Bentegodi stadium, the home of Hellas Verona, which just this season will celebrate 60 years since its inauguration.
Immediately after its opening, Hellas stadium was nicknamed Stadio dei Quarantamila (Stadium of Forty Thousand), for its original capacity, and Stadio del Miliardo (Stadium of a Billion), for the cost incurred at the time, in liras, for its construction.
