All-New Aston Villa Logo Leaked

Update: A great new picture (which might be only a mock-up) of the new Aston Villa logo got leaked. In addition, we can leak how the crest will look in different colors, including a monochromatic version. Aston Villa has still not officially confirmed or even announced the new crest.

Images of Aston Villa's proposed new crest have been leaked online. The new design will replace the current round crest worn on Villa's shirts, which was just launched in 2023.

Aston Villa's Proposed New Badge Leaked Online

The new Aston Villa 2024 logo has a shield-shaped badge with a yellow lion and the club's name written out in full.

Indeed, the new Aston Villa logo is somehow a stuffed version of the 2016 to 2023 crest. It has the exact same yellow lion as the crest from 2016 to 2023. However, instead of the AVFC, it now comes with the full club name and the founding year, plus new colors for the border.

The new badge is understood to have been presented at a recent meeting of the club's fan advisory board. However, some members of the FAB have raised concerns that the club has not conducted sufficient consultation.

The club claims that they have consulted with the FA throughout the process. Under FA rules, a majority of fans must be in favor of changes, and clubs must undertake a "thorough and extensive consultation process."
