Swedish football club AIK revealed its annual special edition kit this Saturday. Called the 1924 Edition, it pays homage to the 1924 shirt when AIK played its first season in the Allsvenskan.

This is the Nike AIK 2024 SE kit.

The Nike AIK 2024 1924 special shirt pays homage to the shirt from 1924. It is mainly black, with yellow applications.

Like for the original kit, a large AIK lettering sits on the center front of the Nike AIK Fotboll 1924-2024 special jersey.

The first Nike logo is placed in a blackout version on the right chest. Both the collar and sleeve cuffs are thick, in yellow.

Has AIK Produced The Kit In-House?

What is most interesting for football kit enthusiasts about the shirt is not the design but how it has been produced.

The Nike AIK 1924-2024 special-edition kit has not been produced by Nike directly, apparently. It is based on the very standard Nike Park VII team wear kit - The club not only added the logos, but also sewed on cuffs and a new collar.
