After five years with Nike, the club has signed a deal with English company Castore. Castore was founded in 2015 and is based in Manchester. The brand currently also supplies kits to German frontrunner Bayer Leverkusen.

It is also uncertain if 1. FC Kaiserslautern will have a new shirt sponsor as their current main sponsor's contract with "Allgäuer Latschenkiefer / Dr. Theiss Naturwaren" ends this summer.

Footy Headlines strongly expects that Castore will provide Kaiserslautern with bespoke kits, in contrast to Nike.
