Bayern München x Dortmund Brand Drop Kit Competition
- Competition Overview: FIFA Kit Creator is hosting a "Der Klassiker Brand Drop Kit Competition" challenging participants to design kits for Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund using brands other than Adidas, Nike, or Puma.
- Brand History: Bayern Munich has exclusively used Adidas logos on their kits, while Borussia Dortmund has previously used smaller brands like Pony and Kappa.
- Competition Objective: Participants should imagine and create a home, away, or third kit for either club, using alternative brands, envisioning how it would look if a different brand was their kit manufacturer.
In global football, almost all big teams are sponsored by the three big brands: Adidas, Nike, and Puma. What if a smaller brand managed to sign German giants Bayern or Dortmund?

FC Bayern Munich has been associated with Adidas ever since its kits featured a brand logo. Meanwhile, BVB has had short periods during its history with smaller brands (Pony - 1983-84) & Kappa - (2009-2012) and even in-house (2000-2004).
Der Klassiker Brand Drop Kit Competition - Bayern/Dortmund Kit By Smaller Brand
For this challenge, participants are tasked with crafting a home, away, or third kit for either FC Bayern or Borussia Dortmund using brands other than Adidas, Nike, or Puma.
Bayern kits never featured another brand logo than the one of Adidas - 2024 marks 50 years since the Adidas logo first appeared on Bayern's kit
For example, a New Balance or Kappa kit for Bayern or a Castore football kit for Dortmund. Yes, it looks particularly strange to a non-Adidas Bayern Munich kit - but an Italian brand for Bayern Munich in particular has a great flair (Munich is sometimes referred to as the northernmost city in Italy).

Special Netherlands x Lego Pennant
In the recent friendly match between the Netherlands and Algeria, the Dutch players appeared with a special pennant made from assembled LEGO pieces, replacing the traditional match pennant.
This was part of a collaboration between the KNVB (Dutch Football Association) and LEGO in preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The partnership, announced earlier in 2026 and running through at least EURO 2028, focuses on encouraging play, creativity and movement among children and football fans through shared initiatives.
As part of the campaign leading into the FIFA World Cup 2026, one million free orange LEGO bricks are being distributed across the Netherlands on June 3 at LEGO stores, Intertoys and Dreamland locations. Fans are invited to build items supporting the Oranje team and share their creations, with the activation tied to the #NEDALG event.
