Augsburg 24-25 Third Kit Released - Inspired by the Roman Empire - Club Announces Reproduction Due to High Demand
- Kit Popularity: The Augsburg 24-25 third kit, inspired by the Roman Empire, has been the club's most popular kit in history, selling out almost immediately.
- Reproduction: Due to high demand, the club is reproducing the kit on demand, with pre-orders available until August 19th, and expected delivery by November.
- Design Inspiration: The kit is predominantly dark red with gold accents and features an embossed graphic inspired by ancient Roman artifacts, referencing Augsburg's Roman history.
Update: The Mizuno Augsburg 24-25 third kit has been the club's most popular kit in history - virtually all adult shirts produced for the whole season sold out in less than four hours. The club made a good decision by offering fans a second chance to get the kit.
Mizuno and the club will reproduce the kit on demand. You can pre-order the kit until Monday, August 19. Repeat orders are planned for delivery by the beginning of November at the latest! It seems likely that this is the last chance to get the kit.
"We are simply overwhelmed by the enormous interest. There has never been such a high demand at the FCA before. Every fan who wants a jersey should have the chance to get one. That's why we quickly agreed to reproduce the Roman jersey," says a delighted FCA Managing Director Michael Ströll.
Update: The Augsburg 2024-2025 third shirt was officially released earlier today. It has been extremely popular with supports and all but one size are already sold out on the club website.
FC Augsburg and Mizuno have today launched the Bundesliga club's 2024-25 third kit, known as the "Roman jersey," coinciding with Augsburg's Peace Festival and FCA's founding anniversary.
Augsburg 24-25 Third Kit
This is the Augsburg 2024-2025 third jersey, made by Mizuno.
The Mizuno Augsburg 24-25 third shirt is predominantly dark red with an embossed graphic inspired by ancient Roman artifacts found in Augsburg.
Augsburg was known as Augusta Vindelicorum in Roman times. It was an important city in the Roman Empire, located in present-day Bavaria, Germany. It was founded in 15 BCE by Drusus and Tiberius, stepsons of Emperor Augustus, who named it in honor of the emperor. The city's strategic location at the confluence of the Lech and Wertach rivers made it a crucial military and trading center.
Mizuno combines the Augsburg 2024-25 third jersey with gold accents, creating an overall classy look.
The Mizuno Augsburg 2024-25 third football shirt was launched on August 8, retailing at €84.95.

Adidas Germany 'Alternate History' 1992 Collection Leaked
Update - Friday, May 22, 2026: Thanks to our follower @Julifu90, we have an image of the t-shirt of the Adidas Germany EQT 1992 retro collection. It is set to be released in the coming days.
We have the first image of a unique new Adidas Germany retro jacket, showcasing an intriguing new approach from the sportswear brand.
While the design instantly evokes strong nostalgia for the 1990s, this upcoming release is actually an "alternate history" creation. Despite its highly authentic vintage appearance and period-accurate details, this specific track jacket never actually existed in the official Adidas catalogues during the 1990s, making it a brand new addition to their retro-focused lifestyle collection.
To achieve this convincing old-school aesthetic, Adidas has utilized their classic 1992 template as the structural foundation for the design. The garment features a vibrant green base that heavily nods to Germany's traditional away kits of the era. The colors of the German national flag are cleverly completed on the sleeves through large geometric blocks that also recreate the 3 stripes.
The same jacket will also be released for Spain and other Adidas national teams.
