Just 30 minutes into the game, the badges started to detach from Idrissa Gueye's shirt. By halftime, the badge had fallen off completely, much to the amusement and frustration of fans.

Did Castore not manage to fix its 24-25 kits?

This debut marks a really bad start for Castore as Everton's kit manufacturer and casts a very poor eye on Castore. The brand apparently did not manage to fix the issues with last season's kits.

We really hope for Castore's well-being that the crest issue was a one-off for 2024-2025 due to the stormy conditions, but if not, the 2024-25 season could be another nightmare.
