Gorgeous: Bayern Munich 24-25 Oktoberfest Janker Jacket & Collection Released

Ahead of the start of the Oktoberfest next weekend, Bayern München has released its Adidas 2024-25 Oktoberfest collection - and it includes some beautiful items.

The Adidas Bayern Munich 24-25 Oktoberfest collection includes a full kit and various items that echo the traditional Oktoberfest spirit.

For us and many fans, the standout piece is a Janker jacket, to be worn ahead of the match vs Leverkusen. The Janker is a traditional Bavarian jacket, commonly worn during Oktoberfest and other festive occasions. Typically crafted from wool, it features simple yet elegant designs, often in muted colors with subtle embroidery, capturing the rustic charm of Bavarian heritage.

Bayern’s Oktoberfest Janker is no exception. It comes in dark green, featuring both the retro Wiesn Bayern crest and the classic Adidas Trefoil logo. The Wiesn Bayern crest pays homage to the club’s connection to Munich's Oktoberfest, one of the world’s largest beer festivals, celebrated with pride in Bavaria.

Material-wise, the Janker jacket of Bayern is not traditional. It is made from 100% recycled Polyester.

In addition to the Janker jacket, Bayern's 2024/25 Oktoberfest collection includes various items that echo the same dark green theme:

• Full kit (shirt, shorts, socks) with subtle Oktoberfest detailing
• Track jacket, keeping the classic athletic style with an Oktoberfest twist

Interestingly, while most of the collection sticks to a dark green palette, the Bayern Oktoberfest shirt stands out in gray. This is to recreate the traditional festive look of Trachten worn at the Oktoberfest.
