PSG to Re-Release Louis Vuitton-Inspired Nike 2006-07 Kit In-House
Paris Saint-Germain is set to re-release a replica of the iconic Louis Vuitton-inspired away jersey from the 2006-07 season, originally designed by Nike. This is reported by PSG insiders @lasource75006.
Paris Saint-Germain 2006-07 Remake Kit
Current PSG player João Neves rocked the classic PSG shirt earlier this week. It is not confirmed if he is wearing the original kit or the remake, as he is hiding the Swoosh. However, every single detail, like the seams and material, is like the original shirt by Nike, so it seems quite sure that he is wearing the original kit.
The PSG 06-07 away kit has become a fan favorite, and PSG plans to bring it back as part of their in-house collection it will lack the Swoosh. The kit is known its distinctive style that mirrors the luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
The original kit has become an expensive collector's item
The PSG remake will be sold at a price of around 50 euros - way cheaper than the original, which will cost you at least 200 euros as it has become a favorite collector's item.
PSG has been re-releasing old jerseys in-house for the past two years. The in-house kits lack the brand logo like the Swoosh but are pretty accurate otherwise.
