Bayern München Sells Player-Issue Kits
- Sale of Player-Issue Kits: Bayern Munich has started selling player-issue long-sleeve kits, which are identical to those worn by players, marking a first for the club.
- Leftover Stock: The kits being sold are from the previous season (23-24) and are believed to be leftover stock from what was intended for the players.
- Discounted Price and Quick Sell-Out: These kits were sold at a 50% discount (€80) and sold out quickly in most sizes, indicating a high demand despite a short notice.
In a surprising move, FC Bayern Munich offered fans the chance to purchase long-sleeve player-issue kits, marking the first time these player-intended jerseys have been made available for sale. Thanks to follower Kay for sharing this unique news!

Bayern München Puts for Sale Leftover Stock of 24-25 Player-Issue Long-Sleeve Kits
Oddly, the store images show the wrong, usual authentic kits with letters for the sizing.
The long-sleeve kits Bayern made available for sale are from last season, e.g., the 23-24 kits. It's believed these jerseys are leftovers from the players' stock. Rather than accepting a financial loss, Bayern offered them to fans.
Bayern apparently sells leftovers from the players' stock
- These kits are identical to those used by players, featuring numerical sizing instead of the usual S, M, L, XL, XXL measurements.
- Sold at 50% off the retail price, the jerseys were priced at just €80, a significant discount from their typical value
- The jerseys quickly sold out in most sizes, suggesting strong fan interest despite the short notice
It will be interesting to see whether Bayern will adopt this strategy again in 2025 and beyond, potentially creating a new avenue for fans to own exclusive pieces of kit history.
Bayern München also sells other stuff of last season's team-intended gear, including the short-sleeve variants and team-intended training stuff.
