Update: Genoa have officially launched their 24-25 fourth kit, as a heartfelt tribute to Boca Juniors' 120th anniversary (3 April 1905 - 3 April 2025).

Genoa and Boca Juniors are closely linked. The founders of Boca Juniors were Genoese and most of the people in the old La Boca neighborhood are of Genoese origin. This is why Boca Juniors are nicknamed "Xeneizes" (born in Genoa).
