US Lecce will take the field in a special throwback jersey when they face Roma this Saturday, March 29, celebrating 117 years of football in the city.
As the club's regular kits, Lecce's 2024-25 117th anniversary strip is made "in-house" by the club.

The in-house Lecce 24-25 117th-anniversary jersey recreates the design worn during the 1976-77 season. The replica maintains the classic design while incorporating modern sponsors, including BetItaly PAY and DEGHI on the front, with the current Serie A badge adorning the sleeve.
This particular jersey holds significant importance in club history as it followed Lecce's triumph in the 1976 Italian Semi-Professional Cup Final, secured through Fortunato Loddi's decisive goal.
Though the original kit featured a tricolor cockade celebrating this achievement, the commemorative version will omit this detail to comply with Serie A uniform regulations. The shirt has a vintage fabric (Made from 60% polyester and 40% viscose), and no sponsors.

Navy blue, very short shorts, complete the Lecce 117th anniversary kit. This also recalls the classic old shorter shorts. It will be interesting if the players wear those shorts.
