Hellas Verona, in collaboration with technical partner Joma, has unveiled a special Hellas Verona's new 40th Anniversary Scudetto uniform celebrating the 40th anniversary of their historic Serie A title win in the 1984-85 season. Verona remain the only team from a non-regional capital city to win the Scudetto in the single-round Serie A era.
This kit launch marks the start of a series of initiatives by the club to honor the legendary team coached by Osvaldo Bagnoli. Hellas Verona's 40th Anniversary Scudetto uniform is a direct tribute to the uniform worn by the Gialloblù in the decisive Atalanta-Verona match on May 12, 1985, which mathematically secured the championship title with one game to spare.
The Hellas Verona 40th Anniversary Scudetto kit will be worn by the first team for only one match: the upcoming Serie A fixture against Lecce, scheduled for the weekend of May 10/11 (exact date/time TBC). The club plans several activities at the stadium on matchday to celebrate the anniversary with fans.

The base of the Joma Hellas Verona F.C. Scudetto Anniversary jersey is yellow, featuring very subtle blue vertical pinstripes that intersect with the special crest on the chest.
This crest echoes the one used on the 2024-25 Home jersey but is enhanced with the number '40' above it to mark the anniversary, and the inscription '1985-2025' interspersed with the Italian Tricolore.
On the back of the Joma Hellas Verona Anniversary shirt, just below the collar, the Tricolore shield is prominently featured in the center, paying further tribute to Bagnoli's championship-winning team. Another commemorative element is a patch sewn on the inside, below the collar, featuring the iconic phrase from historic commentator Roberto Puliero: "AND THE CITY EXPLODED INTO ITS LOUDEST CHEER".
The Joma Hellas Verona Anniversary football shirt has been produced in both short-sleeve and long-sleeve variants. Underscoring its exclusivity, the Joma Hellas Verona 40th Anniversary Scudetto jersey is a limited edition run of exactly 1,985 numbered pieces, indicated by a label affixed to the lower right.
The actual Hellas Verona F.C.'s 40th Anniversary Scudetto uniform worn by the players during the Verona-Lecce match will be auctioned off later on MatchWornShirt, with proceeds benefiting the Hellas Verona Foundation to support charitable projects.

The Stanno Go Ahead Eagles 26-27 third shirt is built around an off-white base with fine vertical pinstripes running down the front. The centerpiece of the design is a detailed historic cog ship illustration across the torso, celebrating the Hanseatic maritime history of Deventer. Rich forest green decorates the folded collar and sleeve cuffs, complemented by gold trim and "GAE" lettering embroidered on the collar insert. EFL Trophy Set to Become 'Jersey Mike's Trophy'
The EFL Trophy is set for another commercial rebrand, with American fast-food chain Jersey Mike's Subs closing in on a record-breaking title sponsorship agreement. The English Football League is finalizing a five-year contract worth approximately £5 million to officially rename the competition the Jersey Mike's Trophy.
The landmark partnership represents the most lucrative commercial deal in the history of the tournament. Participating clubs from League One and League Two, alongside invited Category One academy sides, will benefit from boosted prize money, starting with an initial pool of around £900,000 this season. The agreement directly supports Jersey Mike's major expansion into the UK and Ireland, where the US brand plans to roll out up to 400 store locations.
This move adds yet another chapter to the competition's long lineage of commercial title sponsors. Most recently titled the Vertu Motors Trophy, the tournament has previously operated under numerous memorable names, including the Papa Johns Trophy, Checkatrade Trophy, Johnstone's Paint Trophy, and the nostalgic LDV Vans Trophy.
