Update: Sponsorship expert @Lu_Class_ has just shared new information that Nike is preparing to propose an extension of its contract with PSG, which is currently worth €80 million per year. The existing agreement runs until 2032, and the new contract is expected to extend the partnership until 2039.
Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly finalizing an extension to their long-standing partnership with Nike, which will see the collaboration continue until 2039. According to reports shared by sponsorship expert Łukasz Bączek, PSG currently receives €80 million annually from Nike under their existing agreement, which was signed in 2019. The new extension is expected to maintain similar financial terms, resulting in a total contract value exceeding €1 billion over its duration.
After Nike did not extend some of their biggest deals in recent years, this deal, plus the recently extended Atlético and Barcelona deals, showcase that Nike does not want further to reduce its presence in European football's elite tier.
