The Nike Zoom Mercurial Vapor 16 'Shadow' boots feature a predominantly black upper, creating a stealthy look. The stealthy black base is sharply contrasted by a prominent Ice Blue Nike Swoosh that stretches across the side of the boot. The "AIR ZOOM" branding on the lateral side is also rendered in this cool blue hue.

The soleplate is black, with a window revealing the reddish, shimmering Air Zoom unit. The tips of the studs feature Ice Blue accents, tying the outsole into the overall design aesthetic.
