Fenerbahce Continues to Use the Arial Font in the 2025-26 Season

  • Arial Font Use: Despite the Turkish Football Federation allowing custom fonts, Fenerbahçe will continue using Arial for the 2025-26 season.
  • Production Timeline: Fenerbahçe stated that their 2025-26 kits were already produced with the Arial font before the decision to allow custom fonts was made.
  • Future Font Change: Fenerbahçe plans to introduce a bespoke, custom-designed font for their kits in the 2026-27 season.

Just days after the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced it was abolishing the mandatory use of the generic Arial font, Fenerbahçe has released a statement confirming they will continue to use the Arial font for the 2025-26 season.

In their official statement, Fenerbahçe explained that while the TFF's decision to allow custom fonts was made on 31 July, 2025, the club and Adidas had already finalized the designs and completed the entire production process for their 25-26 kits "long before this date."

Because the kits and the name/number sets were already produced, the club stated that making a change for the upcoming season is "unfortunately not possible."

Bespoke Kit Font Coming for 26-27 Season

The club did, however, acknowledge the feedback from supporters on this topic. They confirmed that they are "evaluating this feedback to reflect it on our kits for the next season." This strongly implies that Fenerbahçe will introduce a bespoke, custom-designed font for the 2026-27 season.

While the end of the "Arial era" in the Süper Lig has begun, it seems Fenerbahçe fans will have to wait one more year to see their team with a unique font on the back of their shirts.
