Adidas has expanded its portfolio by two clubs: Eintracht Frankfurt, which switched from Nike, and Hamburg, which gained promotion. This change sees Nike lose its last big team in the league.
For Nike, the German Bundesliga is the only big European League in which the brand has no huge team. In England (Chelsea, Tottenham), Italy (Inter), Spain (FC Barcelona & Atlético Madrid), and France (PSG), Nike has at least one of the most important clubs.
Puma remains the most represented brand, supplying Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, St. Pauli, Heidenheim, and RB Leipzig. Adidas follows closely behind with Bayern Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Mainz, and Union Berlin now under its banner.
