  • Design Elements: The collection will use a red and black color scheme with gold detailing and incorporate traditional Lunar New Year patterns instead of a horse graphic, despite 2026 being the Year of the Horse.
  • Release Timeline: The Adidas Manchester United 2026 Chinese New Year collection is expected to be released in late 2025 or early 2026, prior to the Lunar New Year on February 17, 2026, marking the second consecutive year for such a collection.

Footy Headlines can exclusively reveal that Adidas will release a special 2026 Chinese New Year collection for Manchester United to celebrate the Lunar New Year, which will be the Year of the Horse.

Manchester United 2026 Chinese New Year Collection

The new Adidas Manchester United 2026 Chinese New Year collection will be a comprehensive range, including a special jersey, a jacket, a hoodie, and pants.

The color scheme will be traditional and luxurious:

  • The jersey will be predominantly red.
  • The other items (jacket, hoodie, pants) will be black.
  • All items in the collection will feature elegant gold logos and detailing

Interestingly, despite 2026 being the Year of the Horse, the collection is not expected to feature a horse graphic.

Instead, the designs will incorporate simple, traditional decorative patterns commonly associated with the Lunar New Year in Eastern culture, such as cloud, or floral motifs.

This will be the second consecutive year that the club receives a dedicated collection for the occasion, establishing it as a new annual tradition.

The Adidas Manchester United 2026 Chinese New Year collection is expected to be released in late 2025 or early 2026, ahead of the Lunar New Year, which falls on 17 February 2026.
