Siroko to Become Sporting Gijón’s Long-Term Kit Supplier
Sporting Gijón and Siroko are close to finalizing an agreement that will see the Gijón-based brand become the club’s new kit supplier. According to La Nueva España, negotiations are in a very advanced stage, with both sides already preparing the final documents. The deal is expected to run for four seasons, up to 2030.
Siroko is a Spanish activewear and sports apparel company founded in 2016. It is recognized for its products such as cycling gear, winter sports clothing, and sunglasses. Initially starting as an e-commerce platform focused on sunglasses, the brand expanded to include a broad selection of high-quality sports clothing and accessories for men, women, and children.
Siroko would take over on 1 July, when their contract officially begins. Until then, Puma remains the club’s technical partner. The Asturian company is said to have beaten several well-established brands in the process, underlining both its recent growth and the favourable terms offered to Sporting.
The agreement also strengthens a relationship that began in 2024, when Siroko became the club’s main shirt sponsor, appearing on the kits of the first team, the B team, and the academy.
It remains to be seen if Siroko will try to sign more teams or if it will be a local engagement for Sporting Gijón only.
