Update: Wales has officially unveiled their new 2026 away jersey, inspired by Y Ddraig Aur (The Golden Dragon) - the nation’s ancient dragon symbol.
Y Ddraig Aur was the royal banner of Owain Glyndŵr, the last native prince of Wales, which he carried during his rebellion against English rule (c. 1400-1416). It was first raised in 1401 at the Battle of Tuthill above Caernarfon and symbolised resistance and the connection to ancient Welsh myths.
