Boca Juniors Unveil New Logo Without Stars
- New Logo Unveiled: Boca Juniors has updated their logo by removing the stars and adopting a cleaner, retro design across their digital platforms.
- Design Changes: The updated logo features a thin yellow border, a darker navy blue, a solid yellow stripe behind the 'CABJ' lettering, and the removal of stars for a simpler aesthetic.
- Future Application: The new starless logo is likely to appear on the Boca Juniors 26-27 kits, though this has yet to be officially confirmed by the club or Adidas.
Almost a month ago, Argentine giants Boca Juniors made a quiet but highly significant change to their visual identity. The club suddenly updated its profile pictures across all official social media channels and its website to a brand-new, starless version of its iconic crest.
New Boca Juniors Logo
The new Boca Juniors logo is still built on the “soul” of the old one, from the shield shape to the familiar “CABJ” lettering.
The most glaring update to the new Boca Juniors logo is the complete removal of the many stars that traditionally filled the upper and lower halves of the shield.
Alongside the missing stars, the club has introduced several other notable design tweaks:
- Inner Outline: A subtle, thin yellow border now runs just inside the edge of the main shield.
- Darker Palette: The traditional bright royal blue has been swapped out for a noticeably deeper, darker shade of navy.
- The Yellow Band: A solid yellow stripe now stretches across the middle of the crest, sitting directly behind the 'CABJ' (Club Atlético Boca Juniors) lettering.
Combined, these changes strip away the visual clutter, giving the new logo a much simpler, retro, and highly classic feel that harkens back to the club's mid-century aesthetics.
This core design is the exact same as the special 120th-anniversary crest that is currently featured on the Boca Juniors 25-26 home kit. The new official digital logo is simply that exact anniversary shield, just stripped of the commemorative '120 Aniversario' and '1905-2025' ribbons at the top and bottom.

Boca Juniors Logo History
With the club officially adopting this cleaned-up crest across all of its digital and media platforms, it is highly likely that this new starless logo will make its way onto the physical Boca Juniors 26-27 kits next year. However, this transition to the match kits has not been officially confirmed by the club or Adidas just yet.
