The new Adidas Frankfurt 26-27 third kit features a design inspired by regional stoneware ceramics, celebrating the unique culture and everyday life of the Frankfurt people.
The Frankfurt 2026-2027 third kit features a muted grey base color combined with striking black monochromatic logos. Adding a bespoke touch, the sides and sleeves of the jersey are covered in an intricate dark grey swirling graphic pattern, inspired by the designs seen on stoneware.

In Frankfurt, stoneware is a fundamental part of the local "identity." The most famous example is the Bembel, a traditional, grey-and-blue painted ceramic jug used to serve Apfelwein (apple wine).
The drink is traditionally poured from the Bembel into a Geripptes - a special glass with a diamond pattern - to enjoy a Sauergespritzter (apple wine mixed with mineral water), kept perfectly pure and cool by the ceramic.
Because of this deep connection, we highly expect the new Adidas Frankfurt 26-27 third kit to feature the elegant, curved, and intricate floral patterns commonly carved and painted onto these traditional Bembel jugs. This would give the jersey a bespoke and historically significant aesthetic.

We have the first image of a unique new Adidas Germany retro jacket, showcasing an intriguing new approach from the sportswear brand.
While the design instantly evokes strong nostalgia for the 1990s, this upcoming release is actually an "alternate history" creation. Despite its highly authentic vintage appearance and period-accurate details, this specific track jacket never actually existed in the official Adidas catalogues during the 1990s, making it a brand new addition to their retro-focused lifestyle collection.
To achieve this convincing old-school aesthetic, Adidas has utilized their classic 1992 template as the structural foundation for the design. The garment features a vibrant green base that heavily nods to Germany's traditional away kits of the era. The colors of the German national flag are cleverly completed on the sleeves through large geometric blocks that also recreate the 3 stripes.
The same jacket will also be released for Spain and other Adidas national teams.
