No, This Is Not the Official Copa América 2032 Logo
A logo for the 2032 Copa América hosted by Colombia and Ecuador has been going viral on social media recently. However, we can confirm that this design is completely unofficial.
Fan-Made Copa América 2032 Logo
The rumor gained massive traction following the 82nd Ordinary CONMEBOL Congress held in Quito, Ecuador, on April 23. With the top officials of South American football gathered in the city, expectations surrounding future tournaments naturally peaked. This led several prominent meme and banter accounts to present a joint binational proposal as a done deal.
The viral graphic features the iconic Copa América trophy surrounded by local landmarks, mountains, a palm tree, and a bird, all wrapped in the shared yellow, blue, and red colors of the two nations.
Despite the strong look, this is merely a fan-made concept. As highlighted by our image analysis via Sightengine, there is a 98% probability that the logo was entirely generated using artificial intelligence.
As of now, CONMEBOL has not officially announced the hosts, the venues, or the branding for the 2032 Copa América. While a joint bid between Colombia and Ecuador is reportedly gaining some momentum behind the scenes, it remains strictly in the early projection phase.
