Current Players in Old Iconic Kits
We wanted to see exactly what today's modern stars would look like if they stepped onto the pitch wearing their nations' most legendary retro uniforms.
Two of the most visually striking edits in this collection feature the unforgettable Nike Total 90 (T90) template from 2004.
- Neymar in Brazil 2004 Home Kit: The Brazilian star looks right at home in the vibrant yellow and green circle-numbered classic.
- Bruno Fernandes in Portugal 2004 Home Kit: The Manchester United maestro dons the iconic red and green kit from Portugal's famous Euro 2004 run.
These specific designs hold massive weight in kit culture, so much so that Nike actually brought them back recently
Moving forward two years, the 2006 World Cup in Germany introduced the world to the revolutionary Adidas Teamgeist template, characterized by its distinct curving lines and paneling.
- Rayan Cherki in France 2006 Away Kit: The young French talent is visualized in the beautiful, predominantly white away kit with the iconic red and blue Teamgeist lines running down the chest.
- Nico Paz in Argentina 2006 Away Kit: The rising Argentine star wears the deep navy away shirt with gold accents, a true modern classic.
The final two mock-ups feature kits that are permanently etched into football history due to the ultimate success achieved while wearing them.
- Florian Wirtz in Germany 1990 Home Kit: Arguably the most famous football shirt of all time. Wirtz models the stunning Adidas ribbon design that is forever tied to West Germany's 1990 World Cup victory.
- Lamine Yamal in Spain 2012 Home Kit: The teenage sensation is seen in the deep red kit from Euro 2012. This specific jersey is historic as it was worn when Spain completed their unprecedented international treble (Euro 2008, World Cup 2010, Euro 2012).
