- Debut: The Adidas Manchester United fourth kit is expected to be debuted during domestic or European cup fixtures in early 2027.
Update - Monday, June 1, 2026: We have exciting new details regarding the special Manchester United fourth kit planned for early 2027.
While several top European clubs have frequently adopted fourth shirts for special cup ties, derbies, or limited-edition collaborations over the years, the Red Devils have historically maintained a strict three-shirt rotation (with the exception of a special EA Sports fourth kit and some European kits in the 1990s, but these were no "4th" kits officially).
Manchester United 26-27 Fourth Kit
The Manchester United 26-27 4th kit celebrates the 125th anniversary of the club adopting its iconic red, white, and black color combination. This historic shift occurred in 1902 when the team officially rebranded from Newton Heath to Manchester United, permanently leaving behind their original green and gold jerseys.
Details indicate that there will actually be two distinct versions of the fourth kit produced for the collection. The primary jersey is expected to feature a classic "Man Utd Red" base, naturally designed to be paired with white shorts and black socks to directly honor the famous 1902 uniform change. Meanwhile, a secondary version will be released in a "Court Green" colorway, possibly! serving as a clever homage to the club's Newton Heath origins. It could, however, also only serve as a keeper.
Given the early 2027 launch window, the Adidas Manchester United FC 2026-2027 fourth football shirt will likely be debuted during domestic or European cup fixtures rather than standard Premier League play.
Manchester United 2018 EA Sports Digital 4th Kit
While Adidas has previously created special Chinese New Year capsules, digital EA Sports jerseys, and various lifestyle ranges for United, a fully-fledged, physical fourth match kit represents entirely new territory for their long-standing partnership.

Toronto Police Seize Record 16,000+ Counterfeit Shirts Worth CA$3.5M
Toronto police have carried out the largest seizure of counterfeit soccer jerseys in Canadian history, recovering more than 16,000 fake items with FIFA, Nike, Adidas and Puma branding, as well as flags and two counterfeit FIFA World Cup trophies. The haul has an estimated street value of CA$3.5 million and includes replicas of Team Canada, Argentina, Portugal and Croatia kits. Two suspects, 41-year-old Ramy Jaber and 62-year-old Walid Sarhan, were arrested after police acted on a tip about a Mississauga warehouse and executed a search warrant.
The pair allegedly supplied the fraudulent merchandise to retail stores through a legitimate trading company, with customers charged full price under the impression they were buying authentic products. Some NFL jerseys were also recovered in the operation.
