Adidas is set to release a special-edition black third jersey as part of its farewell collection with the German national team, celebrating the final chapter of their historic partnership. The official release offers a striking retro look with gold pinstripes and the classic Trefoil logo, and was not liked by most fans - could Adidas have done better?
Germany Third Concepts
We created our own Footy Headlines concept to see how a black variant of the home kit would translate. This design simply takes the home kit, but swaps the white for black.
Meanwhile, concept designer trukapsd offered a different take that bridges the gap between retro and modern. This design features a subtle pattern woven into a black base, reviving the classic Trefoil logo while cleanly incorporating the national flag colors onto the collar and sleeve cuffs.

Liverpool 26-27 Home Kit Water Bottle Released
The official Liverpool FC online store has released an interesting "LFC 26/27 Home Water Bottle".
The design of the water bottle mirrors the home kit. The front of the bottle also displays the Liverbird crest and the current Standard Chartered sponsor logo - however, it lacks the Adidas logo and looks very offset. They should have placed logos differently...
The text "Liverpool FC 26-27" is printed on the bottle in the new official Liverpool font.
