Adidas to Release 1990 Arsenal Home Kits: Adidas plans to launch a remake of Arsenal's iconic 1990-92 home kit in 2027, continuing its strategy of reviving vintage designs.
Two Versions Including a Blackout: In addition to the faithful red and white recreation, Adidas will also release a blackout version of the 1990 Arsenal remake kit.
Unusual Double Reissue Strategy: This 2027 release is unusual because Adidas already reissued the exact same 1990 home shirt design in December 2020, marking a second re-release within seven years.

Update - Monday, June 15, 2026: Adidas will also launch a blackout version of the Arsenal 2027 1990 remake kit, Footy Headlines can leak. Based on the info, we have created a mockup of the Arsenal 1990 2027 blackout remake kit.

Adidas is preparing to launch a remake of Arsenal's iconic 1990-92 home kit in 2027. Continuing their highly successful strategy of reviving vintage designs from the archives, the German sportswear brand will bring back the classic red and white aesthetic that defined the club's early 90s era.

Arsenal 2027 Remake Kit

This is the original Arsenal FC 1990-1992 shirt, made by Adidas.

The Adidas Arsenal FC 1990 2027 remake shirt is set to be a faithful recreation of the original shirt, complete with the traditional Trefoil logo, the period-accurate AFC crest, and the historic JVC sponsor branding that fans instantly recognize.

What makes this upcoming 2027 drop unusual is that Adidas has already reissued this exact same design relatively recently. In December 2020, the brand launched a dedicated one-to-one retro collection that prominently featured the 1990 home shirt. Choosing to re-release the identical classic kit twice within a seven-year span is a surprising strategy, particularly given the vast catalog of historic Arsenal designs that are still waiting to receive the modern remake treatment.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo stand as the only two footballers in history to have their personal logos featured on an official match jerseys, replacing the brand sponsor’s logo.

For Messi, the "M" logo adorned a special farewell collection kit that tribute his final international appearance for Argentina.

For Ronaldo, the CR7 logo graced Sporting CP’s 23-24 third kit to mark the 20th anniversary of the José Alvalade Stadium's inauguration, the very venue where his performance in a celebratory friendly against Manchester United caught the eye of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Big thanks to @whatthekit_x for spotting and create the collage.

Messi Spotted Training in Red Adidas F50 26-27 Signature Boots

Lionel Messi has once again laced up his upcoming signature boots in training with Inter Miami. Having first tested them in late September, the Argentine superstar was seen wearing the unreleased red pair during Inter Miami's latest session, confirming that the new boots are ready for action.

The boots are Messi's next signature edition of the Adidas F50 for the 26-27 season. The design features a vibrant red upper contrasted by flowing white accents and black Three Stripes, channeling heavy retro inspiration from classic mid-2000s F50 models. Messi's pair also showcases his bespoke fold-over lace cover setup alongside an eye-catching iridescent Sprintframe 360 soleplate.

With Messi now consistently breaking in the new model on the pitch, an official launch from Adidas is expected in the very near future.

FK Sarajevo 26-27 Home Kit Released

Bosnian side FK Sarajevo have officially presented their new home kit for the 26-27 season. Produced by Adidas, the shirt celebrates the club's 80th anniversary following their foundation in 1946.

The Adidas FK Sarajevo 26-27 home jersey pairs the club's traditional bordo base with refined gold accents. The celebratory metallic gold hue covers the collar detailing, the Three Stripes on the shoulders, the lower side inserts, and the Turkish Airlines front sponsor. A monochrome gold version of the club crest sits on the chest, matching the aesthetic seen on the previously launched white and gold away shirt.

While the claret and gold palette offers a classy look for the jubilee campaign, the use of a standard Adidas teamwear template has drawn some debate among supporters hoping for a fully custom anniversary design. The 26-27 home kit is available for pre-order through the club's official online store.

Sepcial Juventude Parmalat Retro Shirt Released

Brazilian club EC Juventude, through its in-house brand 19Treze, has officially launched the "Camisa...

Brazilian club EC Juventude, through its in-house brand 19Treze, has officially launched the "Camisa Lendária Parmalat", a special retro shirt celebrating the 10th anniversary of the brand while paying tribute to the club's golden era. Between 1993 and 2000, Juventude's landmark partnership with Italian multinational Parmalat saw the Caxias do Sul outfit lift the 1994 Série B title, the 1998 Campeonato Gaúcho undefeated, and the 1999 Copa do Brasil.

The collector's jersey is designed with classic long sleeves and Juventude's traditional green and white vertical stripes. At the center, a horizontal chest band bordered in blue and green houses the iconic blue Parmalat sponsor wordmark. Further 1990s-inspired details include a white polo collar, the 19Treze logo flanked by laurel leaves on the right chest, sleeve prints, and a golden "Lendária" tag near the hem. On the upper back, a commemorative patch features stars alongside the years 94, 98, and 99 to honor each title triumph.

Strictly produced as a fan and collector piece, the shirt will not be worn in competitive matches, though it follows a brief nostalgic appearance of Parmalat on the club's regular kits last month. Juventude initially made a limited batch available via an exclusive pre-sale for club members before rolling the release out to general retail.

Falkirk 26-27 150th Anniversary Kit Released

Scottish side Falkirk FC has officially launched a special edition kit for the 26-27 season to celebrate the club's 150th anniversary. Created in collaboration with kit supplier O'Neills and the Falkirk Football Heritage Trust, the release honors the club's foundation in 1876 as part of broader 150-year celebrations spanning from May 2026 through December 2027.

The O'Neills Falkirk 2026-27 150th anniversary shirt adopts a clean, traditional aesthetic inspired by the early days of the club. The shirt features a navy blue base with a contrasting white crew-neck collar and white sleeve cuffs, paired with white shorts and classic navy-and-white hooped socks that nod to the club's earliest strips. The chest features a specially adapted anniversary crest displaying an enlarged golden Falkirk Steeple framed inside the original Highlander shield, accompanied by gold "150 Years" and "Falkirk FC" lettering. The O'Neills logo is applied in a tonal finish to keep the focus entirely on the crest, and all commercial sponsors have been completely omitted from the shirt.

Additional historical details include a "150" graphic on the sleeve and the traditional club motto "Better Meddle Wi' The De'il" printed on the back of the neck. Alongside the outfield jersey, a matching light blue goalkeeper strip was also presented. The Falkirk 26-27 150th anniversary kit is available starting October 9 via the club's official store and Greaves Sports.
