Newcastle United have officially launched a supporter vote to select the club's updated crest. Following a lengthy review process, the club provided eligible supporters with three proposed design options to modernize the current badge - which has been in continuous use since 1988 - "for improved digital and physical application."
How the Proposed Crest Looks On Kit
Following the reveal of the official voting options, @NUFCgallowgate has created a close-up of one of the new options featured on the kit. We created a full kit mockup. The realistic kit mockup demonstrates how the cleaner line work, simplified seahorse silhouettes, and updated banner lettering translate into a physical shirt badge.
While Newcastle United opted for an evolutionary approach rather than a drastic redesign, initial supporter reaction to the vote has been divided. Many fans have pointed out how similar all three crest options appear to one another, though there is general relief that traditional elements like the castle, seahorses, and shield have been preserved.
Voting among eligible members remains open through late August 2026.

Peruvian giants Club Alianza Lima and Nike have officially unveiled the club's new 2026 third jersey. Continuing a revered tradition spanning over 55 years, the kit embraces the traditional purple palette in honor of the Señor de los Milagros (Lord of Miracles), which the team will wear during the upcoming October festivities.
The Nike Alianza Lima 2026 third shirt features a deep purple base paired with lighter lilac accents on the round collar, shoulder panels, and sleeve cuffs. Bright gold detailing highlights both the Nike Swoosh and the club crest, complemented by subtle pink accents along the side panels and an inner collar inscription celebrating the club's identity.
The new purple kit will make its official on-pitch debut on October 11, 2026, when Alianza Lima travel to face Cusco FC in Liga 1 action. It is already available for purchase via Nike Peru and Marathon Sports in men's, women's, and children's versions.
