Images of the new Reading FC 26-27 third kit have leaked online via Reading fan @HuangKad, revealing a bold design for the upcoming campaign. Manufactured by Macron, the shirt takes clear inspiration from the town's famous Reading Festival while referencing a memorable strip from the club's history.
Reading FC 26-27 Third Kit
The Macron Reading FC 26-27 third jersey features bright yellow and red horizontal hoops complete with a textured, distressed graphic pattern throughout the front. The shirt is rounded off with a retro black polo collar, a yellow Macron logo, and the standard club badge on the left chest. The vibrant aesthetic pays homage to the 1992-93 third kit, which famously featured the same red, yellow, and black color combination, while the distressed add-on is inspired by Reading Festival.
The new third kit was set to be officially launched during the Reading Festival, but since the club signed with casino Mr Vegas, the festival did not want any more.
Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
Big thanks to @whatthekit_x for the collage.
