Yesterday, AS Roma officially debuted their new 2026-27 home kit during a friendly match against AS Cannes. However, while the initial promotional images looked highly impressive, the actual on-pitch appearance turned out to be quite poor.
Everything is Off on AS Roma 26-27 Home Kit
When seen in action, several structural and design elements of the new Adidas kit simply did not look right. The shirt worn by the players highlighted a few glaring flaws that broke the overall aesthetic:
- The Collar: The deep V-neck collar cut looks far too wide and poorly fitted.
- The Big Stripes: The Adidas three stripes on the shoulders are noticeably oversized, giving them a clunky and unrefined appearance.
- The Sleeve Logo: The sleeve sponsor logo is rendered in a stark white. This color choice completely mismatches and clashes with the rest of the kit's carefully curated color scheme.
Despite the awkward fit and mismatched sponsor details, the kit does have a few redeeming qualities to praise.
The primary base of the shirt utilizes a beautiful, classic maroon colorway that perfectly captures the club's traditional identity. Additionally, the newly implemented Roma crest looks exceptional on the chest, giving the overall design a fantastic retro vibe.

The 26-27 away kit has a striking graphic on a white base. The chest and lower front showcase layered mountain silhouettes rendered in gradient shades of orange, lavender, and deep blue, honoring the region's famous mountain ridges. Blue shorts and white socks complete the fresh away outfit.
