The new Adidas Real Madrid CF 27-28 third shirt is predominantly purple with a modern graphic design. At this stage, the exact accent colors have not yet been confirmed, but white is the most likely candidate to complement the purple base.
Notably, purple will also feature as an accent color on Madrid's 2027-28 home kit. This mirrors the strategy seen in the 2025-26 season, where the two accent colors featured on the home jersey went on to serve as the primary base colors for the away and third kits.
While purple is historically rare in the club's overall kit archive, it has been embraced far more frequently over the past decade.
Most famously, Real Madrid donned a purple away strip during the 2016-17 campaign, immortalized in the 4-1 final victory over Juventus in Cardiff to claim La Duodécima and make Real Madrid the first team in the Champions League era to retain the trophy.
Following that iconic season, purple was also highlighted on the 2022-23 home kit and the 2023-24 fourth kit created in collaboration with Y-3.
