The Lion Returns: 1860 München Regains Iconic Lion Crest After Insolvency Agreement
Earlier in the summer, legal complications and trademark issues stemming from the old company structure had forced Die Löwen to temporarily shelve their traditional badge. For the start of the 26-27 campaign, the club had to resort to a historical oval FA (Fußballabteilung) crest across match kits and communications.
For the 2026-2027 season, we expect 1860 München to solely use the Fußballabteilung crest, with the regular lion logo set to return for 2027-28.
TSV 1860 München 2026-2027 Home Kit
The 1860 München 2026-2027 home kit features classic light blue and white stripes with tailored raglan sleeve paneling and a custom textured knit fabric. Both the Societas logo and 1860 FA logo are black. Instead of a full sponsor, the 1860 Munich 2026-2027 home kit comes with the slogan "Freiheit für Sechzig" on the front - unfortunately, with an orange Dialog logo on the lower part (Freedom for Sixty - Supported by Dialog insurance).
