The Saudi Pro League (Roshn Saudi League) is introducing an updated sleeve badge for the league champions ahead of the 26-27 season.
No 3D finish anymore
The new sleeve patch marks a noticeable shift from the design used in previous seasons. While the previous version featured a gold shield backing printed with gold accents and the central "RSL" text, the updated design replaces the gold shield base with a white base color. Furthermore the badge doesn't appear in a 3D version, as it did in previous years. Instead the badge is a normal jersey-patch.
Applied directly onto the sleeve fabric, it highlights the intricate geometric patterns inspired by traditional Saudi art and architecture, with the central "RSL" lettering.
The new badge immediately gained criticism among fans, claiming that the previus version looked more "championslike".
