Iker Casillas Returns to Reebok, Teases Unreleased Reebok Boots

Reebok’s highly anticipated return to the performance football market in 2026 has brought back a familiar face, with legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas officially reuniting with the brand.

Casillas Returns as Reebok Main Ambassador

As Reebok re-establishes its presence on the pitch, the inclusion of the former Spain and Real Madrid captain serves as a major statement of intent. Casillas was one of the original global faces of Reebok Football during the 2000s, and his return perfectly bridges the company's rich sporting heritage with its newly launched modern campaigns.

Older boot enthusiasts will easily recall the iconic footwear Casillas sported during his initial run with the brand. He famously wore the Reebok Valde Pro II, even receiving a highly limited edition colorway to celebrate his 100th international cap, and later became the face of the innovative oven-baked Instante Pro II in 2010. By bringing him back on board, Reebok is directly acknowledging this successful past while preparing to challenge the current market alongside a new generation of active athletes.

This blend of past and present is clearly visible in the brand's official 2026 launch imagery. While current players like Dušan Vlahović, Trevoh Chalobah, and Kayla Rendell are headlining the campaign in the newly released, performance-focused Sidewinder 26 Elite FG, observant fans quickly noticed something different on the feet of the Spanish icon. Casillas is actually wearing an entirely different, unreleased model in the group promotional photos, signaling that Reebok has more releases planned for the near future.

Reebok RBK800 Football Boots

We can identify the mysterious pair as Reebok's upcoming second modern football silo, officially named the RBK800. In stark contrast to the lightweight synthetic build of the Sidewinder, the RBK800 embraces a purely traditional aesthetic aimed squarely at the heritage boot market. The unreleased boot features a classic black (leather) upper, dominated by a large white Reebok Vector logo sweeping across the side, and is finished with a small gold "RBK800" text.

This upcoming release will offer players a comfortable, classic leather alternative alongside the brand's new Sidewinder silo.

While an exact launch date has not yet been confirmed, the prominent appearance of the RBK800 on the feet of Casillas in this official photoshoot suggests a full retail drop is arriving very soon to complete the brand's comeback lineup.
