Rather than using contrasting colors or traditional full-color crests, brands and clubs are increasingly opting for monochromatic, relief-only, or heavily blended tonal crests that virtually disappear into the fabric from a distance.
All-Tonal Club Crests
The conversation gained traction following the launch of FC Basel's 26-27 third kit by Macron. Basel's new dark navy third shirt features an entirely white silicone crest where the internal lines and iconic club emblem are rendered in subtle 3D relief without any contrasting fill. Similarly, Toulouse's away shirt incorporates an (almost) monochrome pink badge that blends directly into the light gradient graphic of the torso.
Other teams that have released kits with all-tonal crests are Ferencváros, Deportivo, and Djurgårdens.
