Shillong Lajong 26-27 Home & Away Kits Released
Indian club Shillong Lajong FC has officially unveiled its home and away kits for the 26-27 season, produced by domestic brand King Sports. Embracing cultural heritage and continuity under the mantra that not every season requires a brand-new identity, the club carries forward designs rooted deeply in local tradition.
The King Sports Shillong Lajong 26-27 home jersey is predominantly red, incorporating tonal graphics inspired by indigenous Khasi culture, specifically reflecting the story of the Paila bead ornament and the legacy of the Kynjri Tabah. Off-white detailing decorates the crew collar and cuffs, with the sleeve trim displaying distinctive circular bead patterns.
The 26-27 away kit comes in a cream and golden-yellow palette, celebrating the traditional weaving practices of Ri Bhoi and the Khat-ar-Lyngdoh community through intricate Khmat motifs displayed along the central vertical band. Both shirts showcase Meghalaya Tourism as the primary front sponsor, alongside Star Cement placed centrally on the upper chest.
