FC Bayern München and Adidas are taking kit saturation to unprecedented heights during the 26-27 campaign. Bayern München 26-27 Kit Lineup

The primary rotation alone spans three designs. A traditional red and white home jersey with subtle tonal pinstripes, a classic white and navy away strip adorned with the Trefoil logo and a retro club crest, plus a striking navy-purple third shirt highlighting four iconic moments in the club's European history. This was followed swiftly by an expressive black fourth kit covered in a multicolour Bavarian floral pattern released specifically for Oktoberfest.

Beyond the four well-known releases, Adidas has prepared two additional standalone releases to bring the total of contemporary jerseys to six. The first is a white and magenta fifth kit arriving in early 2027 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Bayern's iconic main sponsorship deal with Deutsche Telekom. Adding another creative angle, FC Bayern Women are set to debut a high-profile luxury crossover kit created in collaboration with Munich-based fashion house MCM.

Completing the '6+2' package are two dedicated retro reissues honoring the 2002-03 double-winning campaign, which marked Telekom's inaugural year on the Bayern chest. Adidas will launch a faithful 1-to-1 remake of the vintage white and grey away shirt featuring the original 'T-Mobile' wordmark, alongside an all-black lifestyle version of the same classic design.

The sheer volume of releases has inevitably sparked controversy among supporters. Collectors appreciate the variety, but many fans have taken to social media to voice their frustration over what they consider an unsustainable product flood.
