Scotland Women's Debut Home Kit With White Socks
Scotland Women showcased an unusual kit combination during their 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying playoff first leg against Czechia in Pardubice. Facing a Czech side wearing red shirts, white shorts, and dark navy socks, Scotland had to adjust their regular ensemble to avoid an equipment clash.
Rather than switching to their away strip, the team retained their standard navy adidas home shirts and navy shorts while swapping in alternate white socks. The white socks feature navy adidas detailing along with "ALBA" lettering on the front. While Scotland Women had previously used the white socks in a qualifying match against Belgium, that appearance saw them paired with alternate white shorts.
Because Czechia wore white shorts and navy socks, Scotland only needed to change their socks, resulting in a rare navy-navy-white combination on the pitch. The makeshift setup proved successful on the night, as Scotland earned a 2-0 away victory courtesy of second-half goals from Caroline Weir and Claire Emslie.
