Valencia 2013-14 Special Double 10 years anniversary Kit Unveiled

Valencia today released a special edition football kit to honor the double won nearly 10 years ago. The new Valencia 2013-14 Special Jersey is sponsored by Jinko Solar and MSC on the sleeves and clearly inspired by the shirt worn during the triumphant 2003-04 season, gaining La Liga and UEFA Cup title.

Rumors say Valencia will switch to Adidas from the 2014-15 season. Adidas is reported to have paid a part of the 16 million buyout clause to finish the contract between Joma and Valencia, which formally ran until 2016. This is part of the new Adidas strategy to sign more teams to keep the Number One of football market. Adidas will also be the new shirt supplier for Juventus from 2015-15, who were formally under contract with Nike.

Valencia 2013-14 Special Double Kit

This is the new Valencia Special 10 anniversary double kit.

Like in 2003-2004, when Valencia played in Nike kits with black sleeves and without the color orange, the striking part of the new Joma Valencia Kit are black sleeves and the non-existence of the orange color. It features a bicolored round collar in black and white as well as a special Double application.

Inside the collar features the squad which won the UEFA Cup and gain La Liga title - including players such as Cañizares, Rubén Baraja, Albelda and Pablo Aimar as well as the coach Rafa Benitez, who should join Liverpool after the season.

The special application on the kit comes with the lettering X Aniversario - Dobleta 2004 as well as the two cups. Inside the collar it reads 10° Aniversario Dobleta.

The new Valencia 2013-2014 Special Double Kit will be worn in the match against Osasuna On December 1 and is available to pre-order for 60 Euro.
