Costa Rica 2014 World Cup Kits Released

The new Costa Rica 2014 World Cup Shirts were released today and presented by the players Celso Borges, Bryan Ruiz, Alvaro Saborio and Michael Umana. Both new Costa Rica 2014 World Cup Kits feature the same template, while both kits include the color gold to honor the special occasion. The new Costa Rica Home Jersey will be worn for the first time in the match against Paraguay on March 5.

These are the new Costa Rica 2014 World Cup Shirts.
Costa Rica 2014 World Cup Home Kit comes with the traditional colors red, blue and white with an eye-catching blue stripe on the front of the kit. Similar to some Nike 2014 World Cup Shirts, the Costa Rica World Cup Kit features an unique collar created by the Italian kit manufacturer Lotto Sports.
On the sleeves appears the Lotto Sports Italia logo as well as a blue line on the sleeve cuffs. The shorts of the kit are blue, while the socks will be red.
Costa Rica 2014 World Cup Away Kit is mainly white with red and blue applications. The kit features the same design as the home kit.
Premium Material Returns to the World Cup Champions Badge
Alongside the second star above the crest, Spain officially unveiled a new 3D embossed World Champions badge during their recent 3-2 victory over England in the UEFA Nations League. This badge previously appeared on Spain's jersey after their 2026 FIFA World Cup triumph.
Compared to the heat-applied plastic version seen on Argentina's kits, the new badge from Cromotransfer offers a significantly more premium look, featuring an embossed surface and a multi-layered structure. Before that, Adidas has increasingly shifted to pre-applying tournament and champions badges directly in its manufacturing facilities.
However, this upgrade will be exclusive to the authentic player-version jerseys. The fan-version replica shirts will continue to feature the standard heat-transferred plastic badge.
