Mizuno Basara - The new Mizuno Speed Boot

New Mizuno Basara 2014 Football Boot released - The Japanese brand Mizuno today released the new Mizuno Basara Boot, the new Mizuno Synthetic Speed Boot. The first images of the Mizuno Basara Cleat were leaked some months ago, while the technical details were largely unknown in late 2013. Shinji Okazaki will wear the new Mizuno Basara Boot in Brazil.

The Mizuno Basara Boot is launched in a flashy yellow release colorway a royal blue paint job. The new Nike Mizuno Basara Boot competes with the Nike Mercurial Vapor, the Adidas Adizero and the Puma evoSPEED Boot.

The new Mizuno Basara 2014 Football Boot maximizes speed and focus on lightweight materials and a perfect traction. The top model of the new Mizuno Boot is called Mizuno Basara 001, while the lower-tier Basara models are called Basara 002 and Basara 003. The Primeskin upper of the new Mizuno Basara 001 high performance football boot is also used for the Wave Ignitus III Boot. The synthetic upper material Prime Skin is made for a perfect ball control in all weather conditions, while it also reduces weight from the Mizuno Basara boot. Compared to Mizuno Wave Ignitus, the Primeskin upper is even thinner to offer a barefoot-like ball control.

While the Primeskin upper material has comparable softness and feel to kangaroo leather, the material added an improved durability and a more structured fit. The new Mizuno Basara 2014-2015 Football Boot offers bright boot colors. The mainly yellow release colorway comes with a dynamic logo placement of the famous Mizuno Runbird logo. The novel placement of the Runbird remind us of other Speed Boots, in particular the famous Nike Mercurial silo.

The black Basara logo is placed on the heel area of the boot, while the Primeskin logo features on the inner side of the shoe. The number 001 is printed on the tongue of the boot. The second Mizuno Basara 2014 Boot Colorway is officially called Diva Blue / White.

The outsole of the new Mizuno Basara 001 Football Boot features the D-Flex Groove. The diagonal groove in the midfoot area allows the player to turn at maximum speed. The stud configuration comes with just two studs at the heel area for maximum speed.

To reduce slipping, the insole of the new Mizuno Basara Boot features the new Zero Glide technology. ZeroGlide helps to reduces gap and slip of the foot in the shoe to provide a better traction. The new Mizuno Basara 001 Boot is available from July 2014.
