Umbro Velocita Football Boot Released

Umbro today unveiled the totally new Umbro Velocita speed boot silo, designed to offer traction and speed for the player who needs to move in all directions - fast. Released under the slogan "Glory for All", the new Umbro Velocita is Umbro's lighest boot ever, weighting only 165g (5.8oz) - making it lighter than the current Adidas and Nike speed soccer cleats.

The Umbro Velocita Pro boots were already worn by a number of pros this weekend, including Mauricio Pinilla of Atalanta and Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

Umbro Velocita Pro Nimbus Cloud / Dark Shadow / Pink Glow

This is the new Umbro Velocita Pro boot in the white / black / pink launch color.

A new lightweight microfiber upper has been created for Umbro's new Velocita speed boot, which helps to keep the boot light and to give players a better feel for the ball. Umbro's heat-welded A-Frame cradle system is used on the sides to ensure stability and protection against pressure from all sides.

The Umbro Velocita features a completely new, specially-constructed outsole with a unique stud configuration, which offers great traction as well as safety through the special heel protection construction in the back. All in all, the sole of the Umbro Velocita is very similar to the one of the 2011-2014 Adidas F50 Adizero boots.

The new Umbro Velocita is available in the white / black / pink launch colorway for £130 (€165) at selected retailers.
