Adidas Becomes Southampton's 2015-16 Kit Supplier
English Premier League club Southampton FC today announced that Adidas will return as Southampton kit supplier for the 2015-16 campaign. In May 2013, Adidas became Southampton's kit supplier, releasing a controversial home shirt with no stripes.
In the 2014-15 season, Southampton FC sports unbranded kits after the club decided to terminate its long-term contract with Adidas in December 2013. Even though the club tried to repair the relationship with Adidas in March 2013, the German brand was unable to produce the Southampton 14-15 Kits due to short lead times. Therefore, the Southampton 2014-15 Kits are made in-house.
