Paris Saint-Germain v FC Barcelona - Champions League Boot Preview

Paris Saint-Germain host FC Barcelona tonight for the Wednesday sessions of the Champions League quarter finals first legs.

Dani Alves, Zlatan Ibrahimović and Marco Verratti will all miss the first leg due to suspension in a match-up we already saw in the group stage this season as well as in the quarter finals two years ago.

Paris Saint-Germain Boot XI v Barcelona

This is the expected Paris Saint-Germain Boot Lineup v Barcelona.

The Paris SG Boot XI is dominated by Nike, who supply no less than eight players. Adidas only sponsor two PSG players in the lineup in right winger Lucas and goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.

Thiago Motta, who is not 100% certain to play following his injury, is one of very few players to wear Mizuno boots in the big leagues, sporting the classic Mizuno Morelia II K-Leather Boots.

Other than that, PSG's soccer cleats are far from the usual, with most players wearing the latest striking Nike colors from the Intense Heat Pack.

FC Barcelona Boot XI v Paris SG

This is Barcelona's expected boot lineup for the visit to Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona's Boot Lineup is entirely made up by Adidas and Nike players with a 6-to-5 ratio between them. In fact, the whole squad of the Catalans only includes two players not endorsed by the big two; third keeper Masip and young center back Bagnack are with Puma.

Interestingly, in contrary to their French rivals, no Barcelona players are seen sporting Nike boots with Dynamic Fit collars. Both Sergio Busquets and Andrés Iniesta sport the low-cut Nike Magista Opus football boots, the natural successor to the discontinued Nike CTR360.

Neymar recently returned to usual colorway of the Nike Hypervenom cleats, although there have been speculations about him considering a (temporary) switch to the Mercurial line.
