Under Armour AZ Alkmaar 15-16 Home Kit Released
The new AZ Alkmaar 2015-2016 Kits are the first-ever AZ Shirts produced by US sportswear giant Under Armour. The AZ Alkmaar 15-16 Home Jersey returns to an all-red shirt, inspired by the big successes achieved in red kits.
Under Armour and AZ Alkmaar signed a multi-year kit deal in early May 2015, replacing previous shirt supplier Macron.
AZ Alkmaar 2015-2016 Home Shirt
This is the new AZ 15-16 Kit.
The new AZ Alkmaar 2015-16 Home Shirt boasts a unique design. It features the main color red with black and white details on the collar and the sleeve cuffs, based on the same template as the Spurs 14-15 Third Kit. Inside the neckline of the new AZ 15-16 Kit is the lettering "Samen naar victorie" (together to victory).
While recent AZ Alkmaar Home Shirts featured contrasting white sleeves, the new AZ 15-16 Home Kit is all-red. The all-red AZ Alkmaar 2015-16 Kit is inspired by the shirt worn in 1980-81, when AZ Alkmaar won the Eredivise title for the first time in the club history. AZ Alkmaar also wore a red shirt in the 1990s.
Traditionally, white shorts and socks complete the new Under Armour AZ Alkmaar Kit.
AZ Alkmaar also announced that the new Under Armour Alkmaar 15-16 Away and Third Kits will feature bespoke design, inspired by the rich history of the club.
